Sony Ericsson Multimedia Cradle
Filed in archive Mobile by Mark Rollins on February 1, 2007

Multimedia Cradle is still in the design phase, but I'm surprised that someone hasn't invented this already, assuming they haven't. Very simple concept, this one. Instead of buying one of those high-priced UMPCs, you can buy this multimedia and give your cell a handy interface for life on the road.
The bigger (7 inch) screen and QWERTY keyboard will keep your eyes squinting from looking at the tiny cell phone screen and texting all the time. You can also use the multimedia cradle for listening to music, viewing photos, even surf the net and send e-mails (provided your phone has Wi-Fi access). The thing has a variety of ports to interface with other devices, but the thing I like most about this is the in-sync possibilities with your cell and mobile computer/multimedia cradle.
I've reported on several products that I've discovered to be frauds later on. I have no idea where this drawing came from, but let us hope that it is not fake. Let us also hope that the product will be a low price.
