Not really a new item apparently, but a nice looking one.
The Sony Airboard is apparently a small form factor tablet PC that can also be used as a television panel.
There are times around the house, when I want a little computer - I don't want it all the time, and I don't want it to be big (or expensive). Perhaps I want to do a bit of reading in a hammock, or have an online recipe propped up somewhere in the kitchen.
Hell, even using one as a dumb serial console would be useful at times (but that's my inner sys-admin coming out, excuse me).
Anyhow. Interesting. I wonder what they'll cost?
