Sonos has confirmed initial shipments of its much-anticipated ZonePlayer S5 all-in-one wireless music system that can be controlled by the iPhone or iPod touch.
The Sonos ZonePlayer S5 is a high-performance wireless music system with 5 speakers powered by 5 dedicated digital amplifiers. With 2 tweeters, 2 mid-range drivers and 1 subwoofer.
Music can be streamed wirelessly from either iTunes or the Internet directly. Other features of the S5 include auto-detection of connections for any iPod, CD player or TV.
The ZonePlayer S5 is going for $399 (with free shipping) directly from Sonos.
