Something Else to Contribute to Your ADD

You're Logitech. You make all kinds of peripherals: mice, keyboards, webcams, headsets…and speakers. You have a quandry: how do we make speakers that will attract the eye of the average geek? And then you have an idea: blinking lights. Blinking lights will solve all of your problems!
Ok, so the product they're putting out isn't just a speaker with blinking lights. It's a set of USB 2.0 speakers with not just the standard bass, mid and treble controls, but play, pause next and previous track buttons – plus a readout (with your blinking lights) with information about the song, 4 internet radio presets, a clock and jacks in the back to plug in headphones or an external mp3 or CD player. Called the Z-10 Interactive Speaker System, it's supposed to hit the streets next months for a cool $150. They're pretty sweet looking speakers, but I do wonder who in this day and age is going to pay $150 for computer speakers that don't do surround.
