Solar-Powered Battery Charger

Solar-Powered Battery Charger

It may be bulky, but the Freeloader from Solar Technology definitely has one advantage over other portable battery packs out there: it's solar-powered. That's right: the future we've all been dreaming about, where we live a life powered by the sun and walk around in shiny unisex suits is one step closer. Boasting an array of gadget connectors, an aluminum skin and a decent battery life that can, of course, be extended by putting thing in sunlight, the Freeloader's only flaw seems to be the life of its battery – only two years? How much does something like that cost to replace? Retail price about $60, available in the US through Solar Technology's eBay store.

The Freeloader you\’ve reviewed may be a little bulky, but it\’s a small price to pay for having the convenience of being able to charge your phone whenever you need. There\’s smaller ones available on the market now, such as here: http://www.sentientsolar.co.uk/category.php?id_category=16
