Slopestyle Jacket Displays Pictures
With the Slopestyle Snowboarding jacker that combines clothes + technology, you are suppose to upload images and afterwards they will be displayed on the jacket, more exactly on the right top side pocket. Taking in consideration that it is a concept, the pictures would be uploaded from a cellphone or PDA via bluetooth/wifi, or downloaded from the internet.
Maybe there are people capable of everything to make a show off by having a bit of unusual style while wearing a unique jacket, sadly it's only a concept so we don't know if those crazy people exist.
Here you have the Technical Design or in other words, how it is suppose to work:
A photo is emailed from a camera phone to a specified email account. Using fetchmail in daemon mode, the email is transferred to a local account on a web server. A perl script runs as a chron job and pulls images from emails for display on a WIFI enabled PDA. The PDA is loaded to a html page with a meta refresh tag so that it can display new images as they arrive.
