Silver PlayStation 2

To make up for the late launch of the PlayStation 3 in some parts of the world, the folks at Sony decided to announce the Silver PlayStation 2 that just changes the color and continues with the same specifications of the same "old" PS2. Looks like a desperate call for love, or more like a call for attention. This is a limited edition that comes with a silver dual shocklinks controller as well to match the console and will cost around $130.

Actually, the silver controller has been on the market for some time, and so has the silver PS2... so why did Sony announce this just now? Beats me, but I think they just needed to get something out to distract the Wii fans.
