i4u has a small review about the ShieldZone for the ipod nano, an invisible protection case for the Apple product. It has been tested against a paper clip, a screw driver and it didn't stay with one scratch, while the material looks soft and it doesn't seem to give much protection, that's not exactly how it works.
A cool thing about the applying the ShieldZone on to your iPod, is that the previous scratches will disappear, so long ugly Nano. It costs between $10 and $24, depending on the version of the iPod.
The end result is worth it. The shield is really extremely tough. Apple should look into making surfaces for their products like that
