Sharp RD-9100MP Electronic Dictionary

Sharp RD-9100MP Electronic Dictionary

Usually I don't do stories about electronic dictionaries. They may not be big in America, but they are all the rage with our friends in Korea and Japan.

The Sharp RD-9100MP caught my eye because I thought it was a laptop. (I had no idea of the size, which I'm sure must be small). It does have a lot of memory as it stores nearly 70 languages in its database. It also functions as an e-Book reader, FM radio, a voice recorder, and can even play MP3s.

Of course, what I really like about it is that it has that OLED on the outside. Apparently that is designed to conserve power for the AAA batteries as well as guide your audio experience.

I did not see this model in Japanese market up to the present moment. Is this a special model made for other countries?
