Admit it: you have at least one of those pieces of equipment sitting forlorn in your home office or in your basement. Maybe it was a faithful warrior in its time; a PDA from when Palm was US Robotics, or a modem that you still insist on using (or something else that uses serial ports - to be honest, I can't think of anything that doesn't go on a printer port instead).
