SeeEye2Eye Review

SeeEye2Eye Review

Web conferencing was something I never got as a concept – sure, it's like those video phones you see in movies from the 1960s, but it seems like there are always problems with the software or the connection or the camera that just make the whole process so difficult that you wouldn't want to bother. However, I get the idea that there are people out there who think a little better of this technology than I do and why there might be a market for something like the SeeEye2Eye, an "eye contact device for webcams" that looks like a smaller version of one of those plastic periscopes kids play with. Attach it over your webcam and it uses a mirror to bounce a reflection of your face into the camera so you can look into the screen of the person you're chatting with instead of looking down. Sounds pretty cool, doesn't it? As it turns out, there are some flaws – Gizmodo has more with a full review.
