SCI FI Spoofs Gadget Blogs and Dares to Dream

Here's a meta concept: a gadget blog spoofing gadget blogs…and promoting a new TV show at the same time. The show is called eureka and it's a production of the SCI FI channel, coming in July. The blog is called Made in Eureka; its real purpose is to serve as viral marketing for the show, but the front is a corporate blog promoting the release of cutting-edge gadgetry designed by the scientists at Eureka. Mixed in with some snarky allusions to current geeky events (like the indestructible cheerleader from Heroes) are some pretty cool gadget ideas, including the Gravity Polarizer, a device that looks like a flashlight that can change the orientation of gravity over areas as large as thirty feet. It's all just dreaming for now, of course, but maybe some day…
