Save YouTube videos with TubeSock
Filed in archive Tech News Around The World by tiago on August 31, 2006
Like the title says, TubeSock is an application that allows you to save YouTube videos
directly to your Mac, (yes, it's a Mac only program) there are two saving modes: iPod or PSP. In iPods case, it converts the videos from the original flash mode to the right format which is H.264 and can save them automatically to iTunes/Mac Movies library/desktop; or if you decide to save for PSP the output format will be MP4. The demo version of the software made by StinkBot will only convert 30 seconds of the YouTube video, for the full version the price is $15 which seems pretty cheap in case you want to have a collection of the best YouTube videos.
Visit TubeSock and read their FAQ for more information like, is it legal? The answer is yes, or so it seems...
