Sanyo Xacti E1 Waterproof Camcorder
Sanyolinks seems to want to tell that world that the Xacti E1 is the world's first waterproof camcorder. I find that hard to believe, but couldn't think of another model that was waterproof.

Of course, waterproof may not be an adequate description. As it is, it can only take 5 feet for an hour at a time, but that might be good for pool-time portraits. As for the film type, it shoots H.264 MPEG-4 video to an SD or SDHC memory card, then compresses it for 10 hours of video.

I'm not certain how long the Sanyo Xacti E1 can last on a charge, or even if you can charge it, but it costs about $500.
