SanDisk's Slot Music

SanDisk
sandisk announced the other day that they will be selling slotMusic, a way for musicians to put their tunes on microSD cards.

The card can have 1GB of memory, and can play back music up to 320 kilobytes per second from various studios such as EMI Music, Sony BMG, Universal, and Warner. Not only are there some tunes there, but it can have a video by the artist as well.

These cards can be slipped into any microSD compatible audio player, and they will also be shipped with a USB sleeve so they can be inserted in any USB compatible device. I don't have a price on this, but it should arrive before the holidays.
