SanDisk revealed a new MP3 player today, the Sansa c200 comes with the usual DAP features at a low price when checking the storage capacity - 1GB version costs $80, while for 2GB the price is $100. It supports MP3, WMA, WAV and protected WMA DRM, has FM radio and a slot for a MicroSD card of 2GB. The same tactic (low price but good features) was used on the previously launched SanDisk player (Sansa e280) so this might be the right strategy to beat the giant iPod, only time can tell.
Sansa c200 will only be available to the public on October, meanwhile you can check the SanDisk website for more info.
