Sandisk and Skype Power Your USB Key
We mentioned a few weeks ago that Vonage had released a USB device that allowed you to make Vonage VoIP calls from any PC - now Sandisk has a USB key that allows you to do the same thing through Skype, the largest VoIP phone company in the world. Sandisk's Cruzer Micro and Cruzer Titanium (pictured), which range in size from 512 MB to 4 GB, come with the Skype software installed, along with a voucher card good for a free month of Skype voicemail, a copy avast! anti-virus software to make sure you don't pick up anything nasty from someone else's computer and Sandisk's innovate U3 smart technology, which will copy your Windows preferences to take with you to another PC. They do not, however, include a microphone, so no Skype calls unless your host computer has the right hardware.
