Samsung VM-X300 is a super-fast turn-on
Okay, that headline might imply something else, but it is meant to describe one of the coolest features of the VM-X300 by Samsung.

You know those cars that go from 0 to 60 in just seconds? Well, the VM-X300 is like one of those, in camera form. This camcorder, which records video in MPEG4 at 720 x 480 resolution at 30fps, can go from off to ready-to-record in three seconds. That has to be some sort of record. I know that by the time I can get mine out, the thing I want to film is gone.

Not certain what the price will be, but the Samsung VM-X300 appears to be designed for the "sports" crowd, whatever that means.
