Verizon wireless is getting amped up for this week's Samsung smartphone release. Calling it the Reality, the new (affordable) smartphone will feature large 3.0-inch touch screen display and features Samsung's TouchWhiz interface to customize its home screen with "widgets" that can post photos and update social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter and upload videos to YouTube.
Keeping texters and web-surfers in mind, the handset will offer a slide-out keyboard and a suite of messaging options, including text, picture, video and voice messaging, chat and email.
Additional features include a 3.2-megapixel camera and high-speed Internet, Bluetooth technology and 128MB of internal memory with a microSD slot.
Verizon says the Samsung Reality will be available on April 22 for $80 with a two-year contract.
