Rumor of Xbox 360 with HD DVD Driver Busted
Yesterday, rumors abounded on various gadget sites that 2008 would be the year the Xbox 360 gets a HD DVD Drive. Of course, one wonders if that would increase sales, as the complimentary Blu-ray on the Playstation 3 still hasn't topped the millions of wii consoles sold.
Microsoft officially came out yesterday to say that the HD DVD drive is the result of a misquote more than anything. That's too bad, because we might need more HD DVD media, depending on how the market fluctuates.
