RoverTv PMP Records Directly from TV

Depending on how you look at it, the RoverTv may be an excellent idea or a pricey device lacking built-in storage. Some may see the lack of a hard drive
on a PMP as a glaring omission by the manufacturer. However, some will see the RoverTv with its replaceable SD cards as a cool idea for carrying more audio and video files than some other PMPs on the market, granted with multiple SD cards. Personally, I think the best move would have been to use an internal hard drive and integrate an SD slot for additional storage.
None the less, the RoverTv is an interesting device with a large screen, unencumbered by controls or buttons. All you see from the front of the device is screen. Available in both a 3.5" big screen version for $299.00 and a 4" wide-screen version for $349.00. The really cool part is that you don;t need a computer to upload your video, you can plug the device directly into your TV for recording. You can also play video back from the device to your TV of up to 42" via a built in AV output. RoverTv also features a built-in USB port and FM tuner. Battery life is 12 hours for music and 6 hours for video. Included accessories are a set of ear buds, a 1GB SD Card and a 2GB SD card which is enough storage to hold 4200 songs or 11 hours of TV so says the maker.
