Robots With Attitude!

You know those Roomba cleaning robots? The ones that sound like they run across your floors all day like some sort of dirt-hating disc of fury, collecting any dust they come across like some sort vacuum wielding samurai? Well, iRobot, the company that makes the Roomba and its floor-washing cousin the Scooba, have a new cleaning robot, aimed at those who believe in clean workshop and basement floors: the Dirt Dog. Available at a lower price than either of iRobot's other two cleaning 'bots ($130 versus $150 or $300), the Dirt Dog works more like a street cleaner than a vacuum cleaner, using two rotating brushes and a larger storage bin to pick up larger objects like nails and sawdust chunks.
