RIM Strikes Back with BlackBerry Thunder
Rumors surrounding the 3G iPhone are swirling, but RIM isn't scared. Research In Motion is on the verge of releasing their own touchscreen wonder-phone. While details on the gorgeous hardware are slim, the geniuses over at The Boy Genius Report have live pictures and a few hints; BlackBerry has something special with the Thunder.
Due out in the 3rd quarter of this year, the blackberry thunder clearly has its eyes on the iPhone prize. With a large, multifunction touchscreen, multimedia features, and RIM's award winning infrastructure serving email, this smartphone will be hot.
The BlackBerry Thunder will be striking on the Verizon network, and they are betting that the new kid on the touchscreen block will take a bite out of Apple's hold on the sexy smartphone market.

I can’t wait to see the Blackberry Thunder. I hope it meets up to all of
my needs. Verizon Blackberry phones
have very low tones. Im told they are
not speaker generated but electronic. I hope Verizon corrects this issue only common to Verizon.
