Speakers & Headphones
by Chris Matier on July 15, 2008

The i-Ride bicycle speaker system by Active Tunes allows a cyclist to listen to an iPod or other MP3 player while ditching the headphones so that he/she can focus on the road. These mini speakers are designed to mount to the Handlebars of a bike, and connect to any music player via the line-in cable. The speakers run on 3 AAA batteries or can be powered via USB if you connect them to your laptop.
For $29.99 you get a set of amplified mini-speakers, mounting bracket, carrying pouch, and line-in cable. Don't forget the price also includes the ability to pay attention to the crazies on the road that would rather drive through a cyclist rather than around one.
