RIAA Sues Pioneer Over Inno

The wonderful folks over at RIAA have taken time away from their busy schedule of suing dead people and toddlers to sue Pioneer for their new inno satellite radio/MP3 player I blogged a few weeks ago. RIAA is apparently demanding a cool $150,000 per song recorded on the device from Pioneer, not because they actually pirated music, but because they supposedly enabled users to do so says RIAA.

Hmmm... so does this mean they will sue every VCR maker because I could record a song off MTV to a VHS tape, or every cassette player maker, or every hard drive manufacturer because my PC is nothing more than a tool for MP3 piracy. Why stop there Dell enables millions of customers all around the world to pirate music with those evil computers and what about Microsoft? Their media player allows me to hear pirated songs, after all if I couldn't hear them I wouldn't want to pirate them right? Here's hoping every guy working for RIAA gets elephantitis of the testicles. After all, they may as well have the literal equivalent of what it figuratively takes to proffer some of the suits they file, namely big giant balls.
