Review of the Logitech io2 Digital Pen

The Logitech io2 system of Digital Writing sounds like a pretty cool idea: you use a contoured pen to write notes on special paper and a camera in the pen takes pictures of the writing as you write. Later on, the io software in your computer translates all but the messiest, unreadable handwriting into editable text and copies over any diagrams exactly as images. Even if you lose your notes, you'll have a copy stored in the pen's memory. At $150, the system isn't cheap and you need to buy more of the paper (at between $5 and $15 dollars a pop, depending on size) as you use it, but it definitely seems like a good idea for anyone who needs to take and transcribe a lot of notes.
