Renaldo: Unhappy BenQ Investor
Even with the rewards associated with investing, sometimes the old adage about "neither a borrower nor a lender be" holds true. Take BenQ Mobile, which is currently in the process of declaring bankruptcy and might face criminal charges; according to I4U News, one of the company's investors is Real Madrid soccer star Renaldo, who also modeled for the company's phone ads. Now that he and 4,000 other investors are waiting in line for a share of the company's assets, he and his lawyer are hoping to get 20 percent of their investment back. Somehow I doubt he's hurting for cash, though.
