Real Guitar + USB = A Good Value

plugging in to computers. I blame it on the many years I played guitar without the wonderful benefits of things like Native Instruments Guitar Rig 2 (my guitar software of choice), living without the benefits of a plethora of amp and effects modelers that actually sound halfway-decent, the ability to practice to the music I'm trying to learn as I'm learning it with headphones, etc. In any case, if you're looking to get into guitar via computer, this new device seems like it might be worth a look, especially with its low price ($129): the StealthPlug, which plugs into your guitar or bass's output jack on one end and a USB port on the other. Included is a nice suite of amp modeling, MIDI sequencing, sampling and mastering software to help you document your creations from start to finish. Considering how much all of this stuff costs at the pro level, it looks like a great buy for the consumer.
