Razer Barracuda HP-1 Headphones
I am really looking forward to this product. I am a big fan of headphones for use with my PC for many reasons form gaming to movie watching when the wife is glued to one of those chick shows. Razer has a new set of headphones due out soon but an exact date has not been announced. The Razer website has some information about the new headphones here. From the text on the Razer site, I'm not sure if these are surround sound headphones are not. All the talk of positional audio leads me to expect them to be surround sound units as I have yet to hear any sort of comparable positional audio from normal headphones when compared to surround sound units.

The razer barracuda is very similar to the Turtle Beach surround sound headset. They’re both heavy, seems like a similar model and the mic can be taken off. Personally, I have multiple razer products such as the Razer copperhead, the exactmat, used to have a diamondback plasma edition and now I hope to buy the Armadilo + the soundcard coming out on the 28th of august. I’ve been keeping myself update about the razer headset but honestly it isn’t worth it. I like razer but I’ve had a bad experience with the Turtle beach model, plus, it was easily broken. Anyway, Razer is a great gaming company in general
