Just Plain Weird

However, what Raytron's Chapit lacks in cuteness, it makes up in features. Apparently this little monkey robot has a pre-programmed vocabulary of one hundred words, but has the capacity for ten thousand. Just don't ask me how it "learns". It even has the capacity to recognize individuals. Do we need to apply the Three Laws of robotics here?
Another thing that I've heard it can do is turn your electronic appliances on and off. I'm not certain why I couldn't do that myself, but if I can do it with a simple vocal command, I might be all over that. You can also give the Chapit orders through the net.
No word of availability or price as yet.
