Quantum Computer Asleep and Awake at Same Time
The Chicago Tribune is reporting that researchers at the University of Illinois have succeeded in building a quantum computer. The computer is said to be both awake and asleep at the same time and be able to provide answers without ever having is programming triggered. Sounds like something out of an episode of "Stargate SG1". I would hate to have to call for tech support on that thing, last time I called Dell they could not even troubleshoot Windows.
