Ardent photographers and videographers not perturbed by a bit of bad weather might well have use for this somewhat amusing looking gadget – the Popabrella (and its fancy cousin the Probrella).
The concept is simple – if you want to shoot pictures in the rain, snow, or glaring sun (be careful of the wind though, your camera might fly away) this is an attachable micro umbrella that will see you fit whatever the weather conditions.
Apparently it fits on any camera with a Tripod screw mount, but is light enough to add to your goody bag of camera (or camcorder) goodies. Seems like a good idea to me, especially if you don't want to splash out on expensive waterproof camera housing.
The best thing is the price – Popabrella is $19.95, and its SLR counterpart Probrell is $29.95, which isn't going to break anyone's bank account. Even if your camera does get a Mary Poppins complex along the way.
