The German company Pro Vision has recently presented a new Portable DVD Player during the IFA2006, it's code named PDP 1500 and looks like a future hit. Features a 7-inch TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 480 x 234 pixels which can be considered a good dimension to watch movies in a portable player. Besides MP3s, it is compatible with a couple of different discs like: normal CDs, DVDs, Super VideoCDs, Video Compact Discs and the extras rewritable DVDs.

Since it is a portable device and can suffer a lot of "bumpings" it has an anti-shock system for both the DVD and CD with different settings. On the audio section there are 2 speakers boasting 1.5W of power each which a bit more than some laptops, and on the extra connections there is support for USB and three types of cards: SD, MMC and MS.
