Leaked images of Sony's CMT-Z100iR component audio dock for all things iPod look absolutely amazing. Releasing iPod docs today is a tough gamble; after all, I can't imagine a market more flooded or saturated than iPod accessories. If something is going to sell, it has to be special, and the CMT-Z100iR definitely looks special.

The device won't just dock iPods, it also has auxiliary inputs, AM/FM radio, a CD player, and a USB port for expansion options. It has an amazingly small footprint, especially considering that the speakers output at 20 watts each. The touch panel and and inline LED display are also great additions. The amplifier involved in the dock is a Sony S-MASTER digital amplifier, which will allow music effects and some serious surround and bass emulation.

At this point, this is a leaked product, so there aren't many details as far as dates and price, but Sony Insider is guessing that the CMT-Z100iR will come in at about $150 – $200 dollars. I agree with that price point, but I also think that $150 is a great value for what you get. I can't wait for this to become more than a leak.
