PopCatcher MusicDock MD-601
Despite the age of iPods, most of us still depend on the radio to get our songs. Then we can run a search on iTunes or similar program and download them to our PMP Players. A Swedish company named PopCatcher has developed the MusicDock MD-601, a radio with a dock for your MP3 Player so you can record the music right off the radio.
There may be copyright violations that may be equal to Napster over this one. Especially when you consider that the MusicDock MD-601 has the technology to ignore commercials and DJs and just record the music. That means you can plug it in, record the top 10 countdown, and not worry about the stupid DJ commentary or overly long commercials.
We'll see how this one goes over. Maybe it won't be an issue, because honestly, I think the age of radio is about over. Still, the ability to sense commercials and just record music will come in handy.
