What do you do with your CDs and DVDs once you fill them with data and a month later the data is obsolete? If the data is sensitive, you can't simply Throw them away without risking the information getting into the wrong hands. Plextor, the CD/DVD burner giant, has the answer for you, the PlexEraser. Looking just like any of its other external CD and DVD burners, this drive does the opposite of the other Plextor gear, it destroys burned DVDs and CDs. You only need 6 minutes to destroy the data on one disk. If you should get raided by RIAA, that may not be fast enough.

Like a piece of coarse sandpaper wouldn't do the trick in a couple of seconds. Plus it's way cheaper. Or you can just break the disc in half which cost you nothing (and can relieve a stress) - recovering data from pieces is way too expensive even for RIAA I guess...
