Playlist reviews the iPod Camera Connector
From TheUnofficialAppleWeblog:
"Pros: Small, inexpensive, gets the job done, better than nothing.
Cons: iPod battery killer, s-l-o-w, transfers duplicate images that may still be on your camera/card from the last import, transfers RAW, but does nothing to change the fact that the iPod Photo can't view RAW, only works with the iPod photo, not with other iPod models.
Unknowns: The review says that the iPod Camera Connector doesn't work with any media card readers"
I have a Belkin media card reader for this sort of purpose (and a non-photo iPod), and the huge battery drain is not limited to this connector from Apple.
