Anyhow.
The Kata R-102 photo rucksack is the sort of device that really appeals to me (as the proud owner of a new Nikon
D70) right now.
So, it's a backpack. Nothing amazing you say. It's got special pockets for your camera gear, great. It's the right size to be carry on luggage on a plane, that's a bonus. It's designed well, for easy access to all your stuff. This is all stuff you can probably find in any number of photo backpacks.
But check this out - Kata are the people who make body armour, bullet proof vests and helmets for the Israeli Elite forces.
Now, that made me sit up and pay attention. That's the sort of protection I want for my new baby.

Especially for those of us with new babies to look after.
