And now for something new, an external flash to place on the camera that your cellphone has or doesn't have. It's called Phlash and I think this is a first of a kind in the market, but have some doubts about the success it can achieve.
That little piece in the image is suppose to be placed on the back of your cellphone (or wherever the camera is) and you gotta press it at the same time you take a photo. It's suppose to give better results than the average flash incorporated in cellphone cameras*
There are 2 ways of using it, either Stick it on the back of your phone and the Phlash will be there forever (that's what it seems), or Hang it using a cord.
The creator, Dale Fox, comments:
Phlash is 12 times brighter than most built-in flashes, and allows anyone who already owns a cameraphone to finally take quality pictures indoors and at night
Costs $29.99 and batteries can be replaced. for more info check www.phonephlash.com
* The "Before & After" photos seen here seem suspicious, or is it just me?
*Update:The photos are real, as Dale comments seen above.
