Cameras
by Andrew Garrett on July 25, 2005

Pentax Optio 60 announced.
I've been researching cameras recently for a friend of mine, who's heading over to Burning Man this year - one of his requirements is that it take AA batteries, rather than some proprietary recharge only job.
He also wants a camera that's slim enough to slip into a trouser pocket, produces a decent sized image, has a non-crap optical zoom, and is from a sufficiently reliable manufacturer.
I think this is my recommendation, assuming the timing matches up.
Anyone got any better suggestions?
