Pedalite Anklelite keeps bikers safe

Pedalite Anklelite keeps bikers safe

I remember when I was a kid and I went through this phase where I rode my bike to high school. Of course, when daylight savings time happened, it was dark in the morning. The light I put on the front of the bike helped, but it is the cars from the side that needed to see me.

This really won't be a problem for people who ride motorbikes, as they are required to wear reflective clothing anyway. Also, their bike will be covered by motorbike insurance in the case of an accident.

A company called Pedalite has found another way to light the path of the night biker with the Anklelite. It is solar powered, and once powered by the sun, it can be used for three hours. No batteries are required.

The Anklelite can be used on the arm, or as just a strobe light. It should be on sale in December in the United Kingdom for a price of about $18.

This looks like a great product. I have used the company’s battery free Pedalites but not Anklelite. I can’t wait to try it.
