PCPAL: Mouse, Remote, and Laser Pointer
Once I saw this one, I couldn't resist reporting. Apparently, a Chinese company named Vavolo has come up with the PCPAL, a device that is part mouse, part remote, and part laser pointer. The company even boasts that it can be used as a "keyboard", but I'm guessing it is a text-messaging type keyboard at best.

This certainly would come in handy for situations where you're delivering a presentation, for example. No need to have a remote in one hand and a laser pointer in another, while trying to interact with the computer. For only $40, you can roll all three into one! Not only is this device handy, but it works with the seldom used PCMCIA slot.
