Here's what I care about.
1. More usable interfaces. Make it easy to use, while keeping it powerful. Lower the skill barrier even further.
2. Better ergonomics. Make the stuff comfortable to use, and people will use it more.
3. Better design. Make it look good. If you can't do that, make it invisible.
4. Make it cheaper. Well, that's going to happen anyhow.
