PalmSource Confirms Migration to Linux
As a mac user, if I want a PDA, I pretty much have to go Palm – as far as I know, most of the WinCE options refuse to talk to Mac stuff which renders them pretty much useless to me. So, by default, I'm a Palm user. This is why it's good to see Palm taking a step to leap-frog themselves ahead of the competition, and (I hope) give something of value back to the Linux community. Palm has been slowly but surely falling behind over the years, in terms of features and performance, I think that this move will give them a good kickstart, and make a real race out of things.
