Palm Treo 650 add-on Bluetooth headsets
Filed in archive Creative Reporters , Peripherals by tiago on November 14, 2005

Last week I received a call from Jeremy from Kansas City, Mo asking about Bluetooth headsets
for his Palm Treo 650. I own a Treo 650 and use it for my "real job" to access my Lotus Notes email, using Verizon Wireless Sync, provided to me by Verizon Wireless. You need to have the Unlimited Data plan to keep your wireless bill low if you want to use email forwarding.
If you listen to Podcast 003, I recommend a few Bluetooth Items from Motorola.

Motorola Bluetooth Headset HS850

I own the HS850 and have not had any problems with it. In Podcast 003 I go into detail about how to setup a Bluetooth Headset with the Treo 650 and more. The Treo 650 is far better than it's older brother the Treo 600 and I have heard that Palm is in the process of rolling out the Treo 700??
The only drawback to the Treo 650 is the Built in Web Browsers. It's slow and often reminds me of the days of 28.8K modems.....Ouch! As I mentioned, Verizon is my carrier and trust me, I've tried the other cell companies and none of them have been as easy to setup and operate with Lotus Notes. You can visit www.verizonwirless.com and www.motorola.com for more details. If you have other Bluetooth headset recommendations, please use the comment link below.
I give the Treo 650 four out of five
