Otoizm MP3 Player & Digital Pet
Japan gets the oddest gadgets. Konami is developing a toyish MP3 player, seemingly destined for children alone to truly enjoy. The MP3 player features a digital pet that you have to raise by playing good tunes. Gizmodo reports that music stored on the Otoizm is sorted into 19 different categories, and that each category makes the digital pet grow and react differently.
Rumor has it that if you play Britney Spears, the digital pet gets violently ill. Well, not really I made that part up, but if it did I might actually buy one.
