For anyone who wants free long distance service, but doesn't want to pay monthly fees, the Ooma Hub is just the thing. You still have to pay an upfront fee of about $400 USD, but you'll be set for life.

The Ooma Hub is designed to plug into your internet connection as well as a land line. From there, you can make any call, anywhere, and even reserve the ability to use your home number.

The Ooma Hub will be available in September for $400. For additional $40 each, you can add Ooma scouts like the one pictured above that extend the Ooma Hube throughout the entire house.
