Onkyo Takes Another Swing at Wireless iPhone Headphones

So, I have complained before about my iPhone, which I generally love, and its gross oversight in not having a bluetooth AD2P profile. So, I bought a pair for Bluetooth headphones and a bluetooth 3.5 inch audio transmitter, and it worked perfectly like crap. Every time my iPhone pulled an email or synced with a cell tower, the transmitter and headset became unpaired. Onkyo is coming forward with the MHP-UW2 Wireless Headphones that might solve my problem.

The Onkyo MHP-UW2 Wireless Headphones work on the 2.4Ghz spectrum. This means that the audio isn't subject to the compression present over Bluetooth, and the cell radio may not interfere with it. It would be great if this set of headphones are capable of delivering high quality sound without crappy wires. They are desinged for the iPod series of PMP's so you should be able to use them with the Classic, Nano, or Touch (and presumably iPhone). There is also a 3.5 mm jack for your other random players.

It sucks that I have a piece of hardware that I love except for one glaring problem. I hope that this Onkyo headphones can be the missing piece of this puzzle.
