Onion and Gatorade Charging an iPod Debunked
Filed in archive Just Plain Weird by Dameon Welch-Abemathy on November 29, 2007

Karl J. Mogel writes on his blog The Inoculated Mind that "your shiny new USB plugs will corrode in the solution of onion acids and Gatorade electrolytes." He also presents some video evidence of someone who took the gatorade
-soaked onion and hooked it up to volt-meter. The result? Almost no electricity. Another guy actually tried it for himself. Guess what? Didn't work. Another crackpot idea debunked.
