Now Your iPod is an All Star
I don't know if they're trying to attract the hipster crowd or all those people who grew up loving and abusing Chuck Taylors (although I suppose it could be both), but Speck Products has a pretty good idea going with these Canvas Sport iPod cases. Made of canvas with the classic rubber ribing on the corners, the cases feature the usual amenities for those of you who want to use your iPod without exposing it to Fingerprints or nasty scratches: a cut out for the click wheel, a sown-on see-through screen cover and holes for headphones, data wires, etc. Pop in a 30 or 60 gig iPod Video or iPod Nano and you're good to go.
Remembering how quickly my Chuck Taylors broke down when I had them, I hope the resemblance between the case and the shoe ends at the design – it would be pretty bad to have the case fall apart (especially that sown-on belt clip) six months after you got it.
